The Council Chamber hosts the award of the prestigious Edinburgh Medal.

This year, the eminent Richard Horton, Editor of The Lancet has been awarded the Edinburgh Medal for his contribution to public understanding of medical science.

The City Chambers are situated on the High Street/Royal Mile, just a few minutes walk from Princes Street and Waverley Station. From the High Street, access is via main reception, within the courtyard area.
