Discover the secrets of soldering then make your very own working electronic toy. New for this year - annoy TV watchers with a remote control jammer, or build a colony of Buglets, tiny roving creatures that call to each other. Circuit boards supplied by Zot Engineering. NIGHT TIME JUNGLE SAFARI
Journey through the darkest, densest region of the Amazonian jungle in a night time exploration of nocturnal sounds! In your safari protection gear and lead by your explorer-guide you’ll put together your own hydraphone. Then, by torchlight go in search of the underground, underwater and hidden sounds of the jungle.

SHADOWGRAMS PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
Devlope your own picture to take home by arranging cogs, springs, wires and other bits of metal on a glass plate then expose the pattern on to a piece of photographic paper in the dark room. Chemistry has never looked this cool.

Slime, bubbles, building and lots of fun. A safe place where the young can play in the world of science and you can take a seat, catch your breath and catch up on some ‘easy reading’ among some great science and technology.

ICY ADVENTURE
Dress up like a Polar explorer and see what its like to work at the South or North pole – the coldest places on Earth. Explore some incredible properties of ice and try out a ‘blubber glove’ to see how polar bears and penguins keep warm in the freezing conditions.
